Hello! My name is Artem Borysyuk and I am raising money for my father's army unit in Ukraine. My goal is to raise $55,000 which would be enough to purchase six pickup trucks and two SUVs.

I was born in Ukraine and most of my family is still there, sheltering from, or actively resisting the Russian invasion. I moved to Santa Barbara County when I was seven, where I have lived since. Growing up, I was active in the Boy Scouts and earned my

Eagle Scout rank with Troop 4. I graduated from Santa Ynez Valley High School with honors and have recently completed a B.S. in Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara.

My Father was a retired Officer in the Ukrainian Army who, when the war began, reenlisted and took command of a specialized mortar battery. They were able to establish contact with me in late April and have asked for help with raising funds for their unit. They have shared the following video to help explain who they are, what they do, and how we can help.
